After finally getting Isaiah to sleep tonight, I sat down to eat a slice of chocolate cake that my mom had made for dessert.
Emma was in the kitchen with me. As I took my first bite, she asked, "Mom, how come Aunt Melinda eats healthy and you don't eat healthy?"
Sheesh. Can't I just eat my cake in peace, people?

OHHH MY GOSH!!! Are you serious?!?!?! That girl is crazy! Dont feel bad...I still eat cake too, and until you can sleep through the night you deserve all the cake you can eat! Im glad you finally posted those pics...its good to see your back on the computer now:)
It seems like the worse I eat, the better baby sleeps. More cake, please!

Kasey--that is so funny! I feel your pain! You have actually inspired me to go off sugar. I always think of how long you were off it a couple years ago! Man--you are amazing! I have to give myself two freebies a week (that way I don't feel deprived!)
just tell Emma that you do eat healthy---this is 'healthy cake!' i realized it's not lying to your kids if you know they'll figure it out when they get older, right?
