Goodbye old friend

Michael's eel jumped out of the tank the other day.  No one was around to rescue him.  He was at least five years old or so in human years.  Most people thought he was gross and creepy and slimy. But underneath all that, I think he had a beautiful soul.

Farewell, old friend. I'm sorry I wasn't there to rescue with the salad tongs this time.

WHAT??? How in the world did he just get out? Weird, who found him?? Ugg, that would be gross. Did Michael have a funeral and cry over his lost eel? Sorry for your loss, he will be missed. I hope it wasnt our fish that made him jump to his death!

What?? That makes me sad...I always liked to see how much he grew between my visits. Oh well. What kind of burial did you give him? He seems a bit long to go the way of Nemo...

Poor little eel...I'm sorry for the loss in your family. But I have to say that you made me laugh with your salad tongs apology! :)

Ewe. I didn't know eels could jump. Kind of a cool trick when you think about it, though sad for him that he died......

So sorry for your loss, even if I might have been one of those people who though it was creepy...
